The Villa at Westhampton is the premier assisted living community in Westhampton and the only assisted living community in the Hamptons. We are looking for experienced and caring Home Health Aids to guide our residents throughout the day.
Responsibilities
•Provide residents with assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, and incontinence care as needed and appropriate based on certification (HHA) if any and DOH regulations.
•Follow the resident’s plan for care.
•Observe the assigned residents and report any changes or questions regarding his/her condition and report any changes or questions regarding care to the Director of Clinical Services either directly or in Daily Log and at shift change report.
•Respond to call signals, call for emergency service if needed (911). Report incident and complete appropriate paperwork.
•Maintain confidentiality of all resident records.
•Assist with dining services.
•Encourage residents to participate in activities, assist in getting them there.
•Collect and distribute laundry.
•Attend all required in-service training.
•Follow all established fire/safety components, including participating in monthly drills and staff fire/safety training.
•Meet customer service standards in a friendly, helpful, courteous manner, with resident satisfaction a priority.
•Provide services related to your HHA certification

•High School diploma or equivalent
•HHA certification with agency experience within the last two years
