20th Annual WHBPAC Golf Outing at the Westhampton Country Club

Karen Letterman, Director of Marketing

It was a great day for golf on Monday, June 20th for the 20th Annual WHBPAC Golf Outing at the Westhampton Country Club.

This year’s event was in memory of Dr. Stanley Epstein, a founding board member of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.  Dr. Epstein was a cardiologist, mentor and friend.  Aside from his family, his work as a doctor was his greatest source of pride.  He was an avid golfer, chess-player and sailor who cherished his life with his wife, three children and nine grandchildren. He was known for generously helping others and caring for anyone in need.

This year’s honoree was Cody Hoyt. Cody is a Health & Physical Education teacher, as well as a boys soccer and lacrosse coach, at Westhampton Beach High School.  He took the passion he had for fitness and opened a high-end private fitness and wellness facility called 7 Fitness located in Westhampton Beach.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided virtual workouts for his members.

It is his belief that fitness and wellness should be prioritized to maintain strong physical and mental health, and he is looking to create a culture that encourages these beliefs for the community.

The foursome representing The Villa at Westhampton consisted of:  Christian Gallucci, grandson of our resident Sonnia Marotti, and his friend Tristen Lewis, and Drew Bernstein, grandson of our resident Yolanda Taylor, and Ryan Falvey, husband of Yolanda Taylor’s granddaughter. Congratulations to Christian Gallucci for coming in First Place for 3rd Low Gross!! Congratulations to Drew Bernstein for winning the 50/50 raffle!!  Thank you to our foursome for representing The Villa at Westhampton at this charity event.
