WHBPAC: How does the Villa see itself within the community of WHB?
JT: We’re not just an apartment with an extra level of care, we’re a community. We provide a variety of amenities and services tailored for our residents. It’s more than just a place to live. New residents quickly become part of the extended family. We all eat together. We load up the bus and go to the beach. There is a lot of laughter and a lot of caring.
WHBPAC: What are the facilities like?
KL: This is an elegant, state-of-the-art facility. In addition to brand new private and semiprivate apartments, residents can enjoy the activities or just relax, read and visit with friends in the beautifully appointed library and lounges. We focus on supporting an engaged community of seniors, providing top-notch care. This is the only one of its kind in the Hamptons. “The only one of its kind in the Hamptons”
WHBPAC: What kind of care is available for residents who require more assistance?
JT: We have expert, caring staff available for the residents 24/7 at the press of a button.
KL: Residents who have been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimers’ are offered a memory care option. We are licensed as a Special Needs Assisted Living Facility and the Memory Care community features a specially trained staff devoted to keeping the residents safe, engaged and comfortable.
WHBPAC: What kind of special features of activities do you offer residents?
KL: The Villa offers restaurant-style dining, movies and live entertainment. We also have a hair salon, and barber shop, scheduled activities and community outings, a 24-hour nursing staff and visiting physicians, plus daily housekeeping and laundry services. Add in our game room, theater and art center and there is so much to do and experience.
