What does Donna like about The Villa?  It’s a smaller population, which enables us to tailor our leisure time programming to our residents’ needs and desires.

Highlights of our Recreational Program:  For our memory care residents, we provide one-on-one leisure time activities to enhance their former interests and introduce them to new activities.  Some examples are: providing live entertainment for sing-alongs, appropriate exercise, and many mentally stimulating activities such as games, crafts and music.  We are excited to introduce a new Bi-folkal Group Reminiscing program.

For our Assisted Living residents, we provide a news-currents program which highlights the news of the week.  We do arts & crafts, painting, sittercize and drum classes.  We provide live entertainment, movies in our theatre and we have religious services, group word games and challenging quizzes.  We do outdoor sporting activities, such as horse racing, barbecues and golf.  We also have bus trips on the Villa bus for local shopping, and take our residents out for luncheons as well as scenic rides.

We make the holidays special by having local community groups perform.  In the past, we have had:  Christmas carolers from the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, high school students performing the national anthem on Veterans’ Day, bagpiper performing on St. Patrick’s Day and various other musical entertainment, both during the holiday season and throughout the year.

We pride ourselves on having a vibrant entertainment program for our residents.  Please see and like our Facebook page to view photos and videos of our residents enjoying these programs.  Go to:  facebook.com/villaatwesthampton
